About Marlo Bennett, LMFT
Marlo Bennett, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), has 18 years experience in private practice psychotherapy, psychiatric crisis evaluation, inpatient, outpatient, and residential substance abuse and dependence treatment programs, community mental health, university education, and consulting. She has developed a practical change model, and clients report this is very helpful to them.

To understand an individual or couple's challenges, Systems Theory considers the influence of interpersonal relationships in the individual/couple's family, work, and social life. Marlo has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and additional coursework in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Upon completing a required 3,500 hour post-graduate internship, she passed the rigorous written and oral licensing examinations. She is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Utah and California and a Certified Hypnotherapist. In addition to private practice, she has been an instructor of psychology at Utah Valley State College and a guest lecturer at the Graduate School of Psychology, California State University, Long Beach. She upholds the highest ethical standards of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and is devoted to utilizing practices that optimize the client’s potential.
